While Google has the early advantage in mindshare with Cardboard and youtube having #360video, Facebook isn’t sitting still. Cardboard pales in comparison to Oculus on some levels (in resolution and capabilities), but the playing field is partially reversed if you consider price and portability (Cardboard wins, though GearVR isn’t far behind- and GearVR is Facebook).
