So Google is upset that the DMV didn’t 100% embrace driverless cars. So sad – after all, AI is pretty much well sorted these days…what could go wrong? Well, other than a Skynetian group-think failure and the google-bots rising up against us. Though all kidding aside, not sure that they really are ready for prime-time. Cyber security issues not withstanding, the DMV regs put the onus on the human passenger (“driver”?), so if I was involved I certainly want to make sure that they autonomous system doesn’t suck. And at this point, I’m not convinced…
