cleaning out

Ok, this time it’s personal. It’s just gone too far. Too many email accounts with too many messages (approaching 100K between everything). Too many devices and OSs. At some point you either just toss everything and find a nice bunker, or you dig in and start deleting. And so it goes with Exchange (work) and IMAP (personal) servers/clients. Add in a brief foray with Win10/Surface4, and project Fi on the way and it gets more complicated. More on the devices and OSs later – for now after fighting multiple email clients (Apple Mail, Postbox, Outlook 2011) and having to wait for servers to upload/download/delete/update, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And it isn’t a train – it is every mail box down below 10K messages, with a goal of under 1K inboxes and part archives off the server. Mind numbing…
